This pasta with tilapia is my husband’s favorite dish. Tilapia is an impressive source of protein that has many benefits. I usually meal-prep this pasta to eat twice a week. A simple, healthy, tasty, and filling dinner or lunch option.

Pasta With Tilapia

INGREDIENTS

TILAPIA SEASONING:

-2 tilapia fillets

-1 tbsp olive oil

-1/4 tsp kosher salt and pepper

-1/2 tbsp italian seasoning

-1/4 tsp pepper flakes

-1/4 tsp paprika

BOTTOM OF BAKING DISH:

-cherry tomatoes sliced in half

-1/2 large shallot (minced)

-2 tbsp garlic (minced)

-1 lemon

-1 tbsp olive oil

ON TOP OF TILAPIA:

-feta cheese

-1 tbsp capers

-parsley (fresh)

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Cook pasta according to package. In the meantime, wash your veggies and mince the shallot and garlic.

2. In a baking dish, add all the ingredients listed under ‘bottom of baking dish’. Season your fillets with the all the ingredients listed under ‘tilapia seasoning’. Add tilapia to the baking dish. Add toppings.

3. Bake tilapia at 400F for 20-25 min or until instant-read thermometer reads between 140 and 145F. Serve with pasta or place in a container for meal prepping.
